Global Mobility Coaching

Global Mobility Coaching as a Benefit for Your Global Talent

When an employee relocates, so does their whole life. Yet most companies underestimate how much the success of an international assignment depends on the well-being of both the employee and their family.

Failed assignments can cost up to 3x an employee’s annual salary. Family dissatisfaction is one of the top reasons relocations break down. Successful adaptation increases retention, engagement, and performance.
Your relocation package likely already covers logistics — shipping, housing, visas, and schools. Those are essential. But what’s often missing is structured support for the human side of transition. That’s where we come in. We help employees and families navigate the cultural, emotional, and identity challenges of a global move — so that your investment in relocation delivers its full value.
One-on-one coaching sessions for the employee Support sessions for the spouse/partner (career re-entry, identity, cultural belonging) Supports sessions for the young adults in the family to navigate college choices and to redefine opportunities for their future in their new environment Practical tools + assessments to accelerate the transition Ongoing support over the first 6–12 months, ensuring sustainable success
Because it completes the relocation package. Logistics get people to their new home — but coaching helps them feel at home, stay engaged, and succeed in their new role.

Frequently Asked Questions

Logistics get employees physically settled, but they don’t address the human and cultural challenges of moving abroad. Coaching helps employees and their families adapt emotionally, socially, and professionally — the critical piece often overlooked. Without it, employees may feel disengaged or families may struggle, leading to failed assignments.

Most cultural training is a one-off session that shares “do’s and don’ts.” Our approach is different. We combine rational, emotional, and intuitive coaching over time — guiding both employees and families through the entire adaptation journey. This depth and continuity ensures lasting change, not just a checklist of cultural tips.

Failed relocations can cost up to three times an employee’s annual salary. Coaching reduces that risk by improving retention, engagement, and performance. When employees and their families feel supported, they settle faster, perform better, and stay longer — maximizing your relocation investment.

Both. Our program supports employees and their families. We provide one-on-one coaching for the professional, sessions for spouses/partners to address career re-entry and identity shifts, and coaching for young adults navigating new environments and exploring opportunities for their future. A family that thrives makes an employee who performs.

Younger children are often naturally adaptive, as their cultural framework is still developing. For families who would like additional support, we can explore tailored options on a case-by-case basis. While our primary focus is adults and young adults, we are committed to supporting the family unit as a whole and will always work with clients to address specific needs.

Typically 6–12 months, depending on the company’s needs. This ensures continuous support during the most critical adjustment period. We customize the structure (frequency, format, and focus) to fit your organization and the employee’s role.

Not at all. We complement — not replace — your relocation provider. While they handle the logistics, we handle the human side of transition. Together, the two services create a complete package for global mobility success.
